Our Agents

JUDITH SMASNE

Judith Smasne developed an interest in agri-business while working on her family's farm in the Yakima Valley. Ms. Smasne was Tasting Room Manager for Washington Hills, W. B. Bridgman and Apex Cellars brands in Sunnyside, and then Business Manager for Kestrel Vintners in Prosser. She has worked as a compliance consultant and independent insurance agent for the last seven years. In 2008, she started her own business, Smasne & Company, which brings insurance, bonds and compliance under one umbrella for her clients, all producers of beverage alcohol. Smasne is an instructor for Yakima Valley Community College and Washington State University, teaching winery compliance and management. She is a graduate of the Washington Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Program, and she also received the Karl and Lexie Kupers Leading Edge Leadership Award in 2001 for her accomplishments.


ASHLEE FARRAR

Ashlee Farrar is a wine industry compliance consultant and independent insurance agent. She starting working in the wine industry after returning to her childhood home of Lake Chelan in 2006. The Lake Chelan Valley was just beginning to make a name for itself as an up-and-coming wine regoin within Washington state. Ashlee utilized her small business skills by managing and growing the wine club at Wapato Point Cellars. From there she transitioned into managing the compliance and winery operations at B2C Wine in Manson. In 2009, she teamed with Vino Services NW to offer her knowledge and experience in the wine industry to help the areas growing wineries and vineyards.

 
DENISE ISENHOWER

Denise Isenhower grew up in southeast Indiana on a mixed crop and animal family farm. After earning a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy from Butler University in 1993 and working in intensive care clinical pharmacy, she and her husband caught the "wine bug" and moved to Walla Walla in 1998 to start their own boutique winery, Isenhower Cellars. Denise was the Director of Pharmacy at Walla Walla General Hospital from 1999 to 2004 when she left to concentrate on her winery and family. She has developed impressive skills dealing with the challenges of winery management, state and federal winery compliance, and running a large wine club with members in over 20 states.


JAN MCALVEY

K. Jan McAlvey is a life long resident of Chelan with a 2 year gap to attend WSU. She has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, starting in 1982 and obtaining her Agents license. A few years later she also obtained her Insurance Brokers license. She initially specialized in personal lines of insurance such as auto, home, umbrella and recreational vehicles.   She then went on to excel in commercials lines insurance encompassing business owner, farm owners, wineries and many other business exposures.  Her goal is and has always been her dedication to her clients.  Jan strives at making insurance understandable and easier for clients and always being available to them if they have any questions, concerns or problems.  As a part of the Bridge Insurance Services team she is looking forward to meeting new people and renewing relationships with those that she has helped over the years.


PATRICIA MANIER

Trish Manier grew up in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. After graduating from high school, she received a Medical Assisting Certificate from Arizona State University.  She brings several years of experience in multiple fields of the medical profession to become a part of the team at Bridge Insurance Services as a Life, Disability and Health Agent. After moving to Washington, in 2007 Trish became fascinated with the growing wine industry in the state.  Trish decided to become a part of the wine industry joining the sales team at Wapato Point Cellars in Manson. Now Bridge Insurance Services is excited to welcome Trish, with her depth of knowledge in both fields. She will quickly become an asset to our team. Trish hopes to help her clients bridge their insurance gaps while providing innovative products and outstanding customer service to individuals, groups, employers and employees throughout the Pacific Northwest.
